Niall Toner began making Leather clothing in 1967 in Dublin and became established as a designer and supplier of quality Leather garments. In 1997, due to pressure from cheap imports, he ceased trading, and went full-time into the Music and Entertainment business, including presenting Roots Freeway and Country Heartland on RTE Radio One for 26 years. When Covid put an end to the Music Business, Niall turned back to his old skill as a Leather Tailor and commenced designing and making satchels, shoulder bags and guitar straps, using upcycled leather rescued from couches, car seats and factory off-cuts.

Toner Craft Leather products are all made by hand in the foothills of the Blackstairs Mountains near Myshall in County Carlow.
